Flute Lessons

Recommended for ages 10* and above

Flute lessons are available in 30, 45 & 60-minute sessions. Although 60-minute lessons are ideal and recommended for the greatest chance of success, some younger students will have limited focus capacity and should consider 30-minute lessons.

All students are required to come prepared with their own flute and cleaning cloth. I will be demonstrating and playing duets with the students on a Solid Silver Gemeinhardt open-hole flute. Pieces that require accompaniment will be accompanied on my grand piano.

All students will prepare for two recitals per year. See Recital Path for more information.

Students will also learn to compose simple melodies for enjoyment and for more advanced recitals.
