Policies & Expectations

  • Students will attend classes at the same time each week

  • Missed lessons may be rescheduled, if canceled at least 24 hours in advance.

    • unscheduled absences are not eligible for make-up classes

  • Parents are encouraged to be present for the duration of the lesson

    • siblings are welcome to wait with parents

  • Tuition costs are due at the beginning of every month

    • each month is identically priced

  • Each student will attend 48 sessions per year

    • 44 lessons, 2 recitals & 2 recording sessions

  • Scheduled school breaks will be observed

    • I will be following the Granite Falls School District holiday schedule

  • Students are responsible for lesson books; follow links on this website to purchase books

    • I will provide reward stickers, instruction notepads and music notation paper

  • Students will prepare for two recitals per year

    • families and friends are invited to attend

  • Students will prepare for two video recordings per year

    • videos will be edited and uploaded on YouTube to be shared with family and friends or kept as keepsakes of the student’s progress
